San José Museum of Art Announces Programming for February and March 2022

The San José Museum of Art (SJMA) is pleased to announce upcoming in-person and online public programs for February and March 2022. Highlights include live jazz performances in partnership with San Jose Jazz; and a festive celebration of Lunar New Year at free Community Day on Saturday, February 5, featuring cultural performances and demonstrations from Chopsticks Alley Art, KCC Urisawe, and Rising Phoenix Lion Dance Association.

Beginning Friday, February 4, 2022, SJMA, the Museum Store, and el cafecito by Mezcal will require proof of full vaccination and a booster for all eligible visitors—5 years and older or proof of a negative COVID-19 test. San Jose Jazz Winter Fest

San Jose Jazz’s Winter Fest presents established stars and fast-rising artists in a series of events and spans genres like jazz, blues, R&B, soul, Latin, New Orleans, and global music.

Registration for Kids Summer Art Camp opens February 5 for SJMA members and February 12 for all audiences. These weekly camps offer in-depth art experiences, led by SJMA’s teaching artists and inspired by current exhibitions. Kids Summer Art Camp is offering six weekly camps from June 13 through July 29, Monday to Friday, for age groups 6–8, 9–11, and 12–14.
