First Fridays

Art lovers at these FREE monthly programs enjoy a lounge-like atmosphere with music, late-night bites and drinks at El Cafecito by Mezcal, shopping, and open galleries. Free admission after 6pm!

Holidays and Events

SJMA is closed for select events and holidays:

• Thanksgiving: Thursday, November 28, closed
• Museum closes at 5pm: Friday, December 13 for a private event
• Christmas Eve: Tuesday, December 24, closed
• Christmas: Wednesday, December 25, closed
• New Year’s Eve: Tuesday, December 31, closed
• New Year’s Day: Wednesday, January 1, 2025, closed

Group Visits

SJMA is pleased to offer free individual admission for youth 17 years and under, college students, and teachers with valid ID.

Any group of 10 or more is considered a group tour. Private, youth, adult, and college group tours must be booked in advance. Drop-in groups may be asked to visit at another time due to Museum security and capacity policies. Guided group visits can be arranged from Tuesday–Sunday.
