A: SJMA educators will engage campers in art lessons and collaborative, interactive tutorials that will keep kids active, social, and challenged with a variety of teaching styles in drawing, painting, mixed media, and found object/recycled household items as our starting point for art-making. Our enhanced format includes STEAM-based (science, technology, engineering, art, and math) projects created by an industry-leading engineering educator. Participants will benefit from presentations led by Museum professionals and guest artists, interactive demonstrations, and Q+A sessions, plus curate and exhibit their own artwork in our weekly Art Camp exhibition and reception.
