A Night of Drag and Poetry
You’re invited to join the drag characters of Rhinestone Skies for a family-friendly evening of poetry, music and performance. Hosted by Abbi Kiss, audience members are invited to participate in reading and writing poetry, along with music, song and hands-on activities for kids of all ages.
Featuring: Danny Castillo, Jasper Redwood, King Slayher, and Raphael Slayher.

Danny Castillo (they/them) is an emerging queer scholar and multidisciplinary artist residing in San Jose, CA. They currently define their artistic conditions as soggy grey and getting lost mid-bloom.
Jasper Redwood (@Jasper.redwood):
Welcome to the stage, Jasper Redwood, a neurodivergent, non-binary drag king from the far, far away land of San Jose; but originally from the furthest away land of Appalachia, where they played euchre [pronounced U-ker] with cryptids and ghosts. Nowadays, you can catch them monthly at Circus of Sin, a free show at the Caravan Lounge, or co-teaching a free Drag Workshop at the Peace and Justice Center.
Raphael Slayher (@Raphael_Slayher):
Raphael Slayher is a spoken word poet, trans man, and drag king from the Bay Area. He's been published in West Valley's Voices Magazine, Caesura, Homies, and La Raiz Magazine. He loves using his art to spread Black queer joy, helping others find their voices and become their most authentic selves.

Abbi Kiss (@abbi.kiss):
Abbi Kiss is a genderfluid drag goblin who loves to entertain audiences with campy and colorful performances with pop culture references. While they are often brightly colored, you can usually hear them before you see them.
