Common Sounds
May 24, 2018, 3–5pm

Chamber Music Silicon Valley launches its new ensemble-in-residence, Common Sounds. A Knight Foundation supported project, Common Sounds is a dynamic group of renowned musicians from across the globe. As a fusion between Western classical/contemporary and world music, Common Sounds brings authenticity with a fresh and young perspective. It is an investment in the future of music and utilizes this universal language as a tool of acceptance and understanding. At the San José Museum of Art, Common Sounds will perform a public flash mob-styled performance, followed by a public forum discussing the role of music in belief and global conflict.
