Get ready to celebrate Lunar New Year and welcome the Year of the Dragon with a unique performance by solo guitarist Thien An Nguyen. Hailing from Vietnam, he has spent the last decade exploring the cross-cultural, expressive possibilities of percussive fingerstyle guitar, a technique that produces an intriguing visual performance as well as a rich, multidimensional sound. This singular performance will blend bilingual vocals, original compositions, and traditional Vietnamese tunes with pop, R&B, and rock classics.
