SAN JOSE, California (October 25, 2012)—Lucinda Barnes, chief curator and director of programs and collections at the Berkeley Art Museum and Pacific Film Archive, University of California, will give a Lunchtime Lecture at the San Jose Museum of Art on Wednesday, November 7, 2012, at 12 PM. Barnes’s topic will be “A Game of Clues: Eric Fischl’s Visual Fictions.” She will discuss Fischl’s distinctive approach to painting and the complicated tales that he hints at in his scenes of middle class suburban life. The lecture is free with Museum admission. Visitors may bring lunch or purchase at Café Too.
