Celebrate Día de los Muertos with a San José tradition! As our 6th annual Día de los Muertos play, Teatro Visión presents the world premiere of Departera—a brand new play with original music created from stories gathered from your friends and neighbors right here in San José.

The departera Doña Juana helps the dying move from this life into whatever comes next. Now she is training her young protégé Connie—if Connie will take her ear buds out long enough to learn!
