SJMA is pleased to partner with The Tech Museum and the San Jose Institute for Contemporary Art (ICA) to present this afternoon film program. From 2 to 3 PM, attendees may enjoy the exhibition Ingenious Innovations: Islamic Science Rediscovered at the The Tech (201 South Market Street). At 3 PM, join us for the Bay Area premiere of Unity Productions Foundations’ new documentary film, Islamic Art: Mirror of the Invisible World (2011, 95 minutes). Three years in the making, the film takes audiences on an epic journey across nine countries and over 1,400 years of history. Special guest Michael Wolfe, executive producer, will introduce the film. A reception and Q&A will follow.
