Join SJMA's assistant curator Kathryn Wade as she shares the upcoming exhibition Beta Space: Trevor Paglen.

Trevor Paglen is known for investigating the invisible through the visible, with a wide-reaching approach that spans image making, sculpture, investigative journalism, writing, engineering, and numerous other disciplines. For his first work in sound, Paglen will create a site-specific timepiece for downtown San José and the seventh iteration of the Museum’s exhibition series “Beta Space.” Drawing on ideas about reality, truth, and deep time, Paglen’s sound piece will emanate real-time temporal and environmental facts every dawn, noon, and dusk.
