Explore the Milky Way and the natural environment as visualized by the artist Diana Thater, whose work is featured in the fourth exhibition in SJMA’s series “Beta Space.” Thater and Elizabeth Kessler, lecturer in the art history department at Stanford University, Palo Alto, California, and author of the recent publication Picturing the Cosmos: Hubble Space Telescope Images and the Astronomical Sublime, will discuss Thater’s new installation for SJMA.
