David Berkeley blends folk, rock, and pop music in his timeless songs of love and longing. He brings the people and situations he sings about to vibrant life with a warm, rich tenor that often slips into an aching falsetto. Hailed as “a musical poet” by the San Francisco Chronicle, Berkeley will draw inspiration from the artworks on view and perform songs from his latest album, Some Kind of Cure. He will also read from his companion book of short stories, 140 Goats and a Guitar, the Stories Behind Some Kind of Cure. He will sign copies of his book, available for purchase at the Museum.
