Free admission

Celebrate Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) with live entertainment, cultural demonstrations, and an eclectic mix of artmaking experiences. Gather your family and friends for this annual fest. Join the streaming event as we collaborate with local artists, partners, and organizations for this truly intracultural event!

As part of the celebration, SJMA is offering free admission from 11am–6pm. Visitors can see a stunning ofrenda by artist Lissa Jones. Young creatives can also pick up an art kit to help spur creativity at home.

See the following dance performances in the Circle of Palms Plaza, organized by San José Multicultural Arts Guild (SJMAG):

  • 12pm: Mictlan de Danza y Cultura Azteca at the Children's Discovery Museum
  • 12:30pm: Folklórico Nacional Mexicano Juvenil in front of SJMA
