Continuing our rich tradition of using music to explore works on view, this workshop will teach you the basics of GarageBand and how to turn visual arts into music.
Art 101 is limited to 20 participants ages 13 and up. Space is limited and advance registration is strongly recommended. Participants of all experience levels are welcome. A limited number of Apple iPad tablets are available for use in the class.
About the Instructor
Julian Zamora (they/them) is a multimedia artist born and raised in San José, CA. They have worked in art and science education for over 8 years across the Bay Area. As a dedicated community artist, Julian’s goal is to create art experiences that impact the community and give them a safe space to express themselves. Focusing on existing media to create new and interesting ideas, Julian believes that art belongs to everyone.
