Every spring, the San Jose Museum of Art and Poetry Center San Jose invite area poets to write and perform original works inspired by art on view in the Museum. Featured poets include Santa Clara County Poet Laureate David Perez, Evan Karp, Jasper Haze, Kimberly Escamilla, Jennifer Swanton Brown, Jason Bayani, Claudia McIsaac, and former Poet Laureates Nils Peterson and Sally Ashton.

The poetry invitational will take place in the galleries during the closing party for Around the Table: food, creativity, community, 5 – 8 PM.
