It's About Time: Celebrating 35 Years (2004-2005)
Raymond Saunders asks viewers to consider the myriad ways in which the ideas and events they experience affect their spiritual, social, and moral development. Torn pages from sketchbooks and comic strips, alongside partially erased chalk-written words, suggest the fragility and vulnerability of childhood. Newspaper illustrations provide humorous yet pointed lessons about male-female relationships, while the door on the left serves as a metaphor for the passage of time.
