SOWING CREATIVITY

Around the Table ]

This fall, SJMA launches Sowing Creativity, an ambitious education program that integrates art and science and teaches students about personal health and livable communities. SJMA’s experienced educators and teaching artists will join forces with public school teachers and garden educators to create curriculum based on the exhibition Around the Table: food, creativity, community. Field trips include visits to Veggielution, an urban community farm focused on sustainability and youth empowerment. For more information on bringing this integrated arts program to your child’s class, visit sjmusart.org/sowing-creativity.

Sowing Creativity is made possible by generous funding from the Walter and Karla Goldschmidt Foundation, Donna Dubinsky and Leonard Shustek, JP Morgan Chase Foundation, Cisco Systems Foundation, San Disk, and Wells Fargo, with additional support from the David B. and Edward C. Goodstein Foundation, the House Family Foundation, Tech CU, Farrington Historical Foundation, and San Jose Water Company
