Like the artists whose work is featured in the exhibition Renegade Humor, playwright Yasmine Reza uses biting humor to look into the dark heart of human behavior. Rick Lombardo, artistic director of San Jose Repertory Theatre, will talk about directing Reza’s play God of Carnage (March 22 – April 15, 2012, at San Jose Rep). He will discuss his experience working with actors to stage the play in a way that balances humor with genuine horror.

Lunchtime Lectures take place on the first Wednesday of the month at noon in the Charlotte Wendel Education Center. Visitors are welcome to bring food and beverages.
