During the late 1980s, debates about identity, cultural marginalization, multiculturalism, and inclusivity ignited the art world. Jordana Moore Saggese, assistant professor of visual studies at California College of the Arts, San Francisco and Oakland, will examine artists’ use of difference as a generative device in artistic practice.
