SAN JOSE MUSEUM OF ART RAISES $115K AT FULL SPECTRUM 2010
SAN JOSE, California (October 14, 2011)—Full Spectrum 2010, the San Jose Museum of Art’s fall benefit event on Saturday, October 9, netted approximately $115,000 for the Museum. More than 200 guests enjoyed cocktails, dinner, and live entertainment by electronic cellist Matthew Schoening, dance troupes Capacitor and Fou Fou Ha, laser harpist Henry Chang, electronic musician/trumpeter EO, and techno opera diva Marisa Lenhardt. Charity Benefit Auctions conducted a “dueling” live auction in two rooms: top lot for the auction was “Fund a Need” for the Museum’s education programs, which fetched a total of $10,400. All proceeds from Full Spectrum 2010 benefit programs at the San Jose Museum of Art.
The Full Spectrum 2010 volunteer committee was led by co-chairs Russ Daulton of Hillsborough and Jessica Rink of San Jose. The San Jose Museum of Art is a distinguished museum of modern and contemporary art and a lively center of arts activity in Silicon Valley.
