Corporate events and meetings

  • A long-exposure shot of a formal event in SJMA’s lobby. Spiral sculptures of glass tendrils hang from the ceiling: one blue, one red, and one yellow. People pass between a table laden with food; their movement is blurred. The front doors are open.

  • Formal tables stand in a banquet hall. Colorful geometric shapes are projected on the ceiling. Several party patrons pick up plates from a chef at a red table on the left. A few ghostly figures can be seen who were in the frame, but moved.

  • A large open area with a wooden floor has red chairs, white benches, and a table with a brown tablecloth on the left, covered in bottles and wine glasses. A red glass tendrilled sculpture hangs from the ceiling.

  • Nearly a dozen round tables with bright green tablecloths stand in a banquet hall. The tables are set for 10 people, with silver chairs, shiny burnt-orange napkins, and gift bags with orange tissue paper inside.

  • Roughly sixty black chairs face a podium at the front of a room with white walls, white columns, and wooden floors.. A black podium with a microphone is at the front of the room. A red fire extinguisher is on the wall to the left of the chairs.

  • A look into SJMA’s café, facing towards the main museum entrance. Small square tables with tablecloths and chairs each punctuate the space. Three columns are in the middle of the room. The word “cafe” is in three-dimensional letters above a counter.

  • A full room of party-goers stand in small groups in a lobby. One person ascends the stairs. A neon-yellow tendrilled glass sculpture hangs from the ceiling. Inset lights are in the ceiling. The floor is a speckled tile of very large squares.
