    The San Jose Museum of Art presented the first major museum exhibition outside of Los Angeles of works by Camille Rose Garcia, surveying her work with an emphasis on her most recent creations. The exhibition showcased the artist’s paintings, drawings, sketchbooks, prints, sculpture, and site-specific installations.

    In association with Tragic Kingdom: The Art of Camille Rose Garcia, the San Jose Museum of Art is presenting a series of videos filmed on location at her home and studio in Southern California. The videos will include a personal tour of each series of artworks in the exhibition, as well as, video of Camille Rose Garcia painting, discussing the making of her book, and preparing for her exhibition. Additional videos will be released in the weeks following the opening of the exhibition.
