Artrage: “Bãtchít” |
Enjoy Bollywood-style beats from DJ Samir, specialty cocktails, creative art experiences, and social networking. Rapid-fire, fast-paced, energetic multi-media presentations will showcase contemporary South Asian culture from fashion to film. $5 (members 2-for-1).
This program is the first in the series “Bãtchìt Around the Bay,” a project of the South Asian Art Collective that will include Bãtchìt events at the University of California Berkeley’s Center for South Asia Studies and the Asian Art Museum, San Francisco, in 2011–12. |
