“Storytelling is the most powerful way to put ideas into the world” – Robert McKee

“The power of storytelling is exactly this: to bridge the gaps where everything else has crumbled” – Paulo Coelho

In a time when social media, politics, and the pace of modern life are increasingly dividing us, finding connection through the unifying themes of struggle, triumph, and new beginnings is a way to help us all reconnect with our neighbors and ourselves.

Hear from four remarkable members of San José’s immigrant community who made their homes here. What unifies them today is that they, like us, have found a place to build a life in San José and enhance the multicultural and multicolored fabric of our city. Presented in partnership with the City of San José's Office of Immigrant Affairs.
