Gertrude Bleiberg: Let Us Savor this Moment (1983)

In this large-scale oil paintng, Bleiberg depicts a pot of irises that has sprouted Vulcan-like ears. The wavy edges of the flowerpot and the erratically striped background exude the artist’s playful energy.
