Biography

Josh Dov was born in Los Angeles in 1971. He received his B.A. from the University of California, Santa Cruz in 1993 and his M.A. from the University of New Mexico, Albuquerque in 1997. Dov has had solo exhibitions at galleries in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Albuqerque. His work is held in such collections as the Crocker Art Museum in Sacramento and Sweeney Art Gallery at University of California, Riverside. This would be the first work by the artist to enter SJMA’s collection. (SJMA Collections Committee, 2006)
