Biography
Roberta Loach was born in 1936 in Monterey Fork, California. She received a B.A. from San Jose State University in 1964 and an M.A. from the same institution in 1968. Loach’s work has been exhibited at San Francisco Art Commission; the Triton Museum of Art; the San Jose Institute of Contemporary Art; and a number of Bay Area galleries. She was the founder, publisher, and editor of Visual Dialog Magazine, a quarterly journal of fine art, from 1975 to 1979. Her work is in the collections of The Albany Museum, Albany, New York; Triton Museum of Art; Fresno Art Museum; and the City of San Francisco.
