Biography

Painter, printmaker, and sculptor Pauletta Chanco was born in the Philippines in 1959.  She received her B.F.A., M.A., and M.F.A. degrees from the University of California, Berkeley.  This former student of Karl Kasten has had successful exhibitions in the US and Japan. Portal of Ancient Lives in Tulum demonstrates her interest in the art of antiquity and the mysteries of ancient civilizations. (SJMA Collections Committee, 2001)
