Biography

Keiko Nelson was born in 1948 in Kyoto, Japan, where she studied both traditional and contemporary art. She completed her education at the Institute of Visual Arts in Hamburg, Germany. Since 1972, she has lived in California and worked as a painter, sculptor, printer, designer for architectural projects, and as an installation artist.  She lives and works in Kensington, California.
