Biography

Born in Lake Saranac, New York in 1954, Katherine Levin-Lau now resides in San Jose. She received her B.F.A. from San Jose State University in 1984 and her M.F.A. in 1987. Levin-Lau has had solo exhibitions at the Frederick Spratt Gallery in San Jose, Butters Gallery in Portland, and Walter Bischoff Galerie in Berlin, Germany. Her work is also held in numerous private and public collections, including the city of San Jose, Crocker Art Museum in Sacramento, and Villa Haiss Museum of Art in Germany. San Jose Museum of Art currently owns one painting and one print by the artist.Born in Saranac Lake, New York. (SJMA Collections Committee, 2005)
