Biography

Vi Ly was born in Saigon in 1967 and came the U.S. in 1980. She earned a BFA from the U. of Cincinnati and an MFA from SJSU. Her work has been presented in gallery and museum exhibition at the Fort Wayne Museum of Art, the Crocker Art Museum in Sacramento, Euphrat Museum of Art at DeAnza College in Cuptertino, ProArts Gallery in Oakland, and Southern Exposure Gallery in S.F. among others. She has taught studio art at San Jose City College and Monterey Peninsula College. After living in San Jose for many years, Vi Ly recently moved to L.A. where she continues to make art.
