San Jose Museum of Art Education Programs aim to stimulate widespread interest in contemporary art, as well as aid art-enthusiasts and the general public alike, in gaining an insight into themselves and the world around them. A special emphasis is placed on providing innovative interpretation of exhibitions; developing new audiences; providing creative educational opportunities for youth and adults; and acting as an educational resource for the community.

SJMA adult programs provide the opportunity to see, experience and create art in a contemporary, art museum setting! Unique programs feature both looking and doing, through gallery visits, art-making workshops, and classes taught by artists featured in current exhibitions. SJMA also offers extensive teacher programs and art-related resource materials.

The Museum offers a variety of adult group tours, as well as daily public tours.
